UROTESTS AGAINST CESSATION,) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 14. Influential meetings- of horse breeders at Tattersall's protested against the. stoppage of racing, which would cause .grave damage to the breeding industry. They asked that the matter be decided on its merits and not on prejudice. They demanded that enough racing be -aMoWett to test 'the merit of horses and maintain the high quality of thoroughbreds.
