The wonderful achievements of quickchange artists are nothing compared to fche rapid reversal of things now occurring in connection with the Ha-wko's Bay election. Mr A. E. Jull to-day informs the press that he would be agreeable to accept nomination for the Hiawke's Bay seat if requested' hy a. representative body of electors. It appeared improbable that a Liberal candidate acceptable to 'both sides would be selected. Those responsible - for the selection now .speak much more hopefully of being able to make such an jacceptabio choice, and! in order not to prejudice their efforts he (Mr Jull) wishes his Mends not to wait upon him to urge his candidature.

Mr A. Lr D. OFraser also states that as the position stands at present there is no doubt about him (Mr Eraser) going to tti"e poll. .
