The takings at the Helping' Hand Shop showed a falling off yesterday, this 'being attributed to the unpleasantweather conditions. The Red Cross Fund benefited to the extent of £l7 0s 9d. The expenses were 5s 6d. The amountobtained by the Mayoress's Flag was 17s 6d. and- the" total to its credit is now £33 18s 6d.
