The inquest on Kenneth Livingstone, a shepherd, who was fatally shot on Rollestou's farm, was opened to-day, and was adjourned for 14 days. The Rarotongan, Kaim-uku, who is alleged to have shot Livingstone, was charged in court- with breaking, entering and theft, and was remanded for eight dpys He was committed to Auckland gaol.
