MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of tho Nelson Harbour Board was held to-day.- Present—Messrs H. R. Duncan (Chairman), G. Macmahon, T. ."Bell. J. B." 'Samson, \\-. W. J. C. Mercer, R. B. HARBOURMASTER'S REPORT. The Harbourmaster (Captain H. Collins) reported that .the trade of the Port for the month showed a decrease in tonnage compared with the correspondinff month of 1915. During the month. 137 vessels entered and left tne port including one ocea-going steamer, 2 intercoloniaf steamers. 21 Unioft boats 97 small steamers, 15 sailing vessels. The total tqniiage was 29,569 tons, as against 33.036 for uly,l9lS. (Left sitting.;
