MILITARY WEDDING
1 A very quiet but pretty, military wedding took .place at the Presbyterian , Church, .St. Clair, Duuedin, when Lieut. jIX S. Chisholm. of the Waitaki High School and formerly of Nelson., was married to Miss M. Farra. The church looked charming, being decorated with white flowers and the Union Jack. Miss Farra wore a soft white crepe de chine gown, the bodice finished with white niuon and lace. Tier tulle veil was worn off the face, and fastened to her head by a wreath of orange blossom. She carried o white shower bouquet. She was attended by her sisters, as bridesmaids. They wore gowns of embroidered white voile, with picture hats. After the wedding ceremony the bridal party assembled at Cossens, the residence of the [bride's brother-in-huv, where a very enijoyable wedding breakfast was partaken j of. after which Lieut, and Mrs Chisholm left bv motor for the South. The weddino- ceremonv was performed by Chaplain' Captain "Miller, and Miss Paterson officiated at the organ. Mrs Cliisholm wore a navy blue tailor-made coat and skirt, with hat en suite, to go away in. Lieut. -Chisholm goes to Trentliam shortly, after which he hopes to proceed to the war.
LieuL and Mrs Chisholm arrive in Nelson to-morrow morning.
