ELTHAM, Jan. 4.
A pitiful accident 'occurred this mornings when Josehp John Robertson, aged 2 years" 11 jtionths. was shot dead with a. "pea-rifle by a companion aged eight, who is a visitor from Auckland. The rifle had been left in a shed overnight with a ballet in it, the.rifle being one of the old-fashioned type. Childish curicssty prompted the boy to examine the weapon, with, fatal result.
