SUICIDE AT COLLINGWOOD
COUNTY CLERK FOUND T>EAD IN 'HIS OFFICE. At 7.30 this morning James Tait, Clerk to the Collingwood County Council, was found dead in his office, with liia throat cut. Deceasea "was about, as usual yesterday,, and retired to bed last, evening at the 'hotel at which he was boarding. When found, the body was cold, and the deed must have been committed some hours previously. Deceased had on only his underclothing and trousers. He was an ex-postal official, and had retired on superannuation. He had occupied the 'position of County Clerk for only 'four or five weeks. An inquest -will be held before a Justice of the Peace and a. jury,.
