GISRORNE, This Day. ' Archibald Stewart, /aged 60, coinimitted suicide by cutting Ms throat with a razor in the hospital. William Crump, a boy aged 3£ years, was thrown, out/ of a trap and killed at Matawai.

An accident at the F'eatherston railway station occurred .this the troip-train drew in at : 10.20, Private Power, E. Company,.. 10th Reinforcements, slipped and fell between the platform and the was seriously crushed and was removed to the Greytown hospital where he lies in a precarious condition. ;■ J- .
