BRIGHT WATER,
A meeting of the Brightwater Farmers' Field Day Committee was held in i the "Club Room on Saturday evening, 18th December. A fair number of members were, present. Mr H. T. Palmer was voted to the chair. . It was resolved to donate the sum of £ls to the various patriotic funds to 'be distributed as. .follows Belgian- Relief Fund, £2 10s; "Evening Mail"-Tobacco . Fund, £s.;' Red Gross Fund. £2 10s; Sick and Wounded Fund £3. , After some discussioh it vsas resolved that if suitable grounds were' obtainable .the Committee might hold another field day in aid of the; war funds. The secretary was instructed' to look for a suitable ground for a do gtriaV and report to a meeting to lie held about tlie end of January..
