The Prime Minister and the Leader of (he Opposition had another conference ' yesterday on the National Cabinet pro- ; posal, but no announcement was made. Mr Massey stated last evening that all ho could say about the state of tho twgotiations was that they were neither concluded nor broken off. He diid not' think it was probable; that a- statement on the question would be made until itho House met on Tuesday. "FIGHTING OPPOSITIONISTS." NO CONFIDENCE MOTION SUGGESTED.
