Lieutenant Forsyth, of Tadmor. left for. Trentham camp by this mornne's steamer. Mr Hugh Hajl, whose dcath_at Otaki was announced on Thursday, was a brother of Mr Horrie Hall, now of Wanganui, but formerly in business in Nelson. Mr Samuel Hordern has been elected President; of the Royal Agricultural Society, succeeding the late Sir Francis Sutter, says, a Sydney Press Association cable received to-day. Mr Cecil W. Leys, associate editor of the Auckland 'Star," and Mr Wm. McCullough, ..-proprietor, of the Thames 'Star," have-.been- appointed delegates to represent the Newspaper Proprietors Asosciation of New Zealand at tho International Press .Congress to be held at San. Francisco in July. They will leave with Messrs Mark Cohen and Robert Bell, the other delegates .so far appointed, by the R.M.S. Niagara on the 18th inst. —Press Association. Among the list of wounded, at the Dardanelles are Private R. J. Jenkins, born at Nelson, in 1892;- Corpl. L. A. Kinzett, wood- turner, born •at I Wakefield in 1893 (both of Wellington Infantry Battalion); and Private/C- C. Avery, carpenter, born at Collingwood in 1876 (Auckland Infantry Battalion)..The Private A. Mullany, who -was W.oundedi is a son of Mr. R. Mullany, of Napier, and hot, a\s at first thought, of Sergt. L. Mullany, formerly of Nelson.
