GERMAN REPORT
REJOICING IN BERLIN.
(Received Dec. 19, 9.55 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Dec. 18.
Berlin was beflagged and "bells were rung for the victories in Poland and' the raid on- Yorkshire. The people demand that the raiders receive the Iron Cross. . An official Berlin message states that when approaching England, four destroyers attacked the German cruisers. )ne was sunk, and the others were damaged and disappeared. The German ships received some shots from the coast batteries and sustained slight dam-;ao-e. -The Hartlepool batteries were silenced. A British destroyer was sunk elsewhere.
