! FOUR MEN ELECTROCUTED I THE FINAL SCENES. (Prf.ss Association.—Copyright.) (Received April 14, 11.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 13. Four of the men convicted for the murder of Herman Rosenthal were electrocuted in Sing Sing prison. None of them confessed, as anticipated, and none mentioned that Becker was in any way connected with the crime. "YV'hitey" Lewis, as he was being strapped to the electric chair, mumbled : '"Gentlemen, I did not shoot Rosenthal. Those who said I did were perjurers. lor the sake of justice, gentlemen, I did not." The electric current here cut short the statement. The Jewish Rabbi attended Lewis and "Gyp the Blood.'" A Roman Catholic chaplain attended the Dag,, Frank. Another Rabbi accompanied "Lefty"' Lewis. Crowds of newspaper reporters assembled, and a certain number were admitted to each execution. Ihe condemned men nearly collapsed while waiting for the no wt'rial to be granted Becker.
