LONDON, March 5.
Mr Winston Churchill, speaking at the Aero Club,; said the public 6hould realise that the risks of flying were not excessive. Since he had been at the Admiralty, there had been more lives lost in submarines than in the air service. He predicted that aviation would exercise a potent influence in military affairs, and on the destiny of states. He considered the Atlantic flight premature an j unduly risky.
