DISAPPOINTING
SYDNEYITE IN NEW ZEALAND. • (Press Association. —Copyright). (Received 9.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Hugh S. Pearce, an ex-Sydneyite, who for some years was engaged in New Zealand horse breeding, lias" returned from a visit, and states that New Zealanders have a considerable prejudice against Sydneyites, and declares that when he first arrived in the Dominion he presented Sydney/testimonials, _ but found it was impossible to do business. This state of affairs existed for three months. He also complains that Australian coins are accepted in New Zealand. He does not intend to return to. New Zealand.
