'"Themes Henry Johnston, who bolted from the asylum at Avondale six weeks aub, and concerning whose sanity there h*s',been much discussion, returned to Auckland voluntarily to-day, and was met Tbjr the superintendent cf the mental .hospital. The intention of the authorities is, unknown, but it appears that Johnston is not going back to the mental hospital at presene. .- Johnston has been released Tor a p«riod : not exceeding,2B days. .Under the Act,, if-by: that time he gets two doctors to testify to his sanity, he will be unconditiqnalJy released.
