GREAT SACRIFICES GERMANY'S LOT
LAND ARMAMENT AND EXTRA BURDENS. (Press Association.—Copthtght. ) BERLIN, Feb. 13. Herr von Bethmann-Hollweg, speaking at an agricultural banquet, said Germany was compelled this year to strengthen her land armament, and the effort would demand sacrifices. God had appointed Germany to a place on the globe, arid so arranged its history that great sacrifices were their heavy lot.
