NEWCASTLE MINERS.

SYDNEY, February 10. Upon the reassembling of the conference at Newcastle between the coal owners and the Miners' Federation, to discuss whether a joint committee or some similar tribunal should be formed to deal with mining disputes, the owners announced that they were not prepared to proceed with the business till they knew what the Government intended doing. The conference therefore adjourned until Wednesday.
