A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a middle-aged man named Jas. Haynes, who a fortnight ago undertook to canvas 3 the district for some jewellers in Hamilton. He was given a bag containing £4Bl worth of jewellery. He hired a horse and trap from a , local stable; but has not since been heard of, although the horse and trap were found abandoned at Pukekohe.
