LONDON, Nov. 8.
The purchase of large quantities cf silver by the Indian Government through the firm of Samuel Montague and Co., has raised the question of the propriety of Mr. Stuart Sa-.r-uel, a member of the firm, retaining his seat in the House of Commons. The law officers are investigating the position.
