Fine weather attracted a large number of people to the Fleming-ton meeting. The results were as follows: Hurdles: AVa.rwidgerie 1, Glontaft 2, Gold Fish 3..
Mimosa Stakes: Maltravers 1, Scotch Malt 2, Back's Lager 3. Won all the way. Time, 1.45^. Linlithgow Welter: Mountain Princess 1, Sylvander 2, Wolawa. 3. Wolawa led round the turn from Sylvander and Broadsword. Mountain Princess passed them at the distance, and led up the straight, winning by three-quarters of a length. Carnival Handicap: Wool 1, Nangar 2,' Shuja .3. There were eleven runners. Nangar led into the straight from. Shuja and Wool, but the- latter took command at the distance,. and won by three ■lengths. Oaks: Moe 1, Perdita 2, Symetris 3. Perdita and iMoe were together going past ,fche abattoirs, and a good race resulted. Won by three-quarters of s length. / Veterans" Plate: Sand Bath 1, Oakdene 2, Cadonia 3. Sand Bath led from the barrier and won. by one and a-half lengths.
