MOTUEKA LODGE, No. 117
The installation of Worshipful Master and investiture of officers of the Motueka Lodge, No. 117, took .place at Motueka on Wednesday afternoon, when R. W. Bro. W. E. Bedman, Prov. G.M. of Nelson and Marlborough installed Bio. W. Mclnnes as Worshipful iMaster. The latter invested -his T.P.M. and R. W. Bro. W. Moves, Past P.G.M. and W. Bro. R. W. .Stiles invested the other officers, whilst several visiting past masters delivered the addresses and assisted in the ceremony. W. Bro. C. S. McFarlane acted as Director of Ceremonies. The following are the officers: 1.P.M., Wor. Bro. G. J. W. Bound v ; S.W.. Bro. R. H. Shaw Thompson ; j.W., Bro. Jas. A. Wallace ; treasurer, Wor. B)<>. T. G. Broughan- ; secretary, Bro. L. E. Rhodes; chaplain, Wor. Bro. Geo. 11. Budden ; organist. Bro. L. E. Rhodes ; S.D.. Bro. W. E. Poole; J.D., Bro. C. L. Harvey; D. of C, Wor. Bro. C. S. McFarlane; 1.G., Bro. H. B. Saunders: Tyler, Bro. S. Gate. A collection in a-'d of the widow and orphans' and aged mason/ fund was taken up. Representatives were present from Southern Star, Victory, and Forest Lodges.
