The Canterbury A. arid P. Association's Metropolitan -Show opened to-day at the show grounds at Addvngton, in cold, wet and windy weather. In the competitive cattle-and produce sections the entries Teceive<J this year show an increase when, compared with last 3"ear. The total entries inr 1912 were 2095, comwith. -rri 1911. To-morrow is the principal judging day. • . CHRISTGHURCH, This Bay.. The weather cleared at mid-day, and promises to* be fine .for the afternoon of the judging:day at' the Metropolitan Show. The Attendance is large.
