WAIHI
CHANGE OF TACTICS. (United Piikss Association.) , - WAIHI, This Day. • . Thft Waihi day shift coming off work yesterday afternoon were treated -by the a9einblage of unemployed with what had every appearance or respect. For the mdfet part the men raised their hats as brakes jwith workers passed along. The women folk also adopted an air of markted deference to the workers in strange contrast to the aggresisve and insulting demeanour of the past few weeks. This morning the men. going tc- rrork received a - similar. respectful attention, but no hats were doffed. This omission was probably due to the heavy rain. The public are curious as to the • marked change in the tactics, and- are wondering what it means. -- _ ,
