BELFAST DEPUTATION TO MR ASQUITH.
"AN UNPROFITABLE AGREEMENT." (Press Associat^n.— Copyiught.) LONDON, July 11. Mr. Asquith, in reply; to a Belfast Chamber of deputation, regarding the ' Home Rule Bill, remarked that the deputation did not indicate in what respects the safeguards were inadequate. It was unprofitable to argue while they maintained that n 0 safeguards would reconcile them to an Irish Parliament. The Government honestly. desired to effect a real settlement of the ouWtion.
