THE TAHUNA SCHOOL.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I am- pleased to see that the Tahuna residents are taking an interest m school matters. I think it a- crying shame that children 11 years and over have to walk through rain and hail to the Stoke school, a distance of three miles. One day last week the Tahuna children attending the Stoke school got wet through and had to sit in wet clothes all day. Now, Sir. if the Education Board doesn't see fit to' make Tahuna a sole school the 'parents should refuse to send their children to Stoke school and start a> private school amongst themselves. I am, etc., AN AFFECTED PARENT.
