A REVOLT AT FEZ

Official advices from Fez state that a portion of the native troops and a section of the population have rebelled. The French garrison at I" ez numbers 1500. SEVERAL FRENCHMEN KILLED. (Received April 19. 9.40 a.m.) TANGIER, April 18. Several quarters of Fez have revolted owing to measures to which the native troops objected. Several Frenchmen have been kuiea, but the Embassy is safe. Troops have arrived from Mequinez.
