HOSPITAL SISTERS SUSPENDED.
TROUBLE AT AUCKLAND HOSPITAL. (United Press Association } AUCKLAND, April 18. Some trouble seems to have occurred within the ranks of the nursing staff of the Auckland Hospital. On three occasions the baths on the top flat of the new Nurses' Home have been allowed to overflow with the result that serious damage on each occasion has been dope to the furniture and effects of the room below. In reports submitted to the -Board this morning it was stated oy both the lady superintendent and pie t-econd engineer that there was evidence that the incident was the result of a deliberate indent on the part cf some person, or persons.
A letter of protest was also received from five s'sters. on the top flat complaining that they had been suspended because of this occurrence.
Mr Coyle moved that the honorary medical staff be asked to subrtiit a full report upon the suspension and the effect it had upon the institution. The motion was carried.
