QUARRELLING LABOURERS.
A KNIFE USED

AUCKLAND, April 9. On Sunday last, three labourers who are engaged on road works at Epsom, had a quarrel, and one of them. Paul Keller, an Austrian, it is allegfied, drew a knife and attempted to stab one of the others named Arthur Thomas Luckily, the knife was very blunt, and did not <lo a great deal of execution, a small wound on the arm being the onlv damage done. At the Police Court Haller pleaded not rruiltv to having assaluted Thomas by stabbing him with a knife. Oil the application of the police he was remanded until 15th April.
