Hie Grand Lodge of the Independent Urder of Good Templars adopted a, resolution rejoicing at tne splendid result of the New Zealand prohibition vote, regarding it as the most significant object lesson showing that the .people were ready to face the direct issue of liquor, or no liquor in preference to the lesser issue of local option.
