AT THE POLLS.
YOUNG TURKS VICTORIOUS. OPPOSITION PRACTICALLY DISAPPEARED. (Press iissociATioN. —Copyright.) (Received April 10, 9.10 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, April 9. The Committee of Union and Progress had a sweeping victory at the election, the Opposition having practically disappeared. What is left is merely irreconcilable sections. The Union's success is due to the stubborn resistance of the troops in Tripoli neutralising the earlier indignation against the committee, combined with the carefully engineered reports of Turkish successes.
