FIRE AT A BOARDING HOUSE.
HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE. (Press Association. —Copyright.} (Rcc. March 11, 8.5 a.m.) NEW YORK. March 10. A fire gutted a lodging-house in Chicago, and six people were killed. A man jumped from the fourth flooi and was dashed to death on the pavement. Others were suffocated. Two hundred persons occupied the building, and thev rushed panic-stricken into the street. Several are missing, but it be'ievod thev are safe. The firemen rescued many who were overcome by smoke.
