TENDER ACCEPTED FOR LAKE COLERIDGE TUNNEL. (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, ATarcii. 10. The contract for the construction a* the tunnel from Lake Coleridge to the head of the power house by the Waim?kariri river has been let. and the ma-ia task of development in the first of the series of hydro-electric schemes for the Dominion, authorised towards the end of 1910 by Parliament, will shortly be commenced. The contractor is Mr. J. Williams, of Wellington, and the price is £53,172, and the work is to bo finished by August, 1913.
