THE POLITICAL SITUATION.
HON. T. MACKENZIE INTERVIEWED. (United Press Association.') CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Hon. T. Mackenzie passed through Christchuich this morning on his way to Dunedin. A question regarding his own future elicited the following reply : the Party thinks 1 ought to occupy, after it has exhaustively considered, all the circumstances. My own opinion is that at. a time like present 'every member ought t<J practice self-abnega-tion, and each ought to be prepared to do what was most likely to settle the difficulties, and advance the cause of Liberalism."
