The lot ten* staled that tuo Commissioner had furnished a. full report ito the Government with regard to the mutter, and had stated therein, what- tho probable cost of the aemiisit ion of the nciccesary land would he. and that t.lis NeJson G'itv Couin.eil had voted .-R3CO towards ihis object, and that there would be .no difficulty in raising a. further suini by subscription' or otherwise if ne.ee ss'ai"y.
