The new pictures cover a wide range of subjects, and the list, includes some remarkable specimens of the art of animated photography. " a charming 'Edison drama) ''An Indian Mother," a picture of stirring interest; "Valvcrina Landscape''; ''The Scarf," a Parisian tale of the ISth century; and in the picture entitled "Britannia's Bulwarks there is a majestic naval scene •depicting Kngland"s mighty battleship, 11.M.5. .Dreadnought at gun practice. This film is the production of Charles Ur' an, and it is of much.ability. clearness, and photographic quality, together with fine sea effects and l a vivid, descriptio no£ what a naval monst r can do when let loose. -In the humorous line. "His Wife's Sweethearts," "Tim writes a Poem." and "A Good Lesson." The matinees will now commence every Saturday at 2 o'clock 'to enable country visitors to oarch the 1.30 train. <

SCHOOL OF MUSIC. FULLER'S PICTURES. There wore two screenings of Fullers' Picture yesterday, and at. afternoon and evening performance the School of Music was well attended and hearty applause was bestowed. on> the many beautiful specimens of living photography. The bright music by the orchestra also met with much appreciation, from those'- present.

At the matinee this afternoon another new programme is on the screen, and it will be repeated at to-night's performance at 8 o'clock sharp, at-the usual prices. The new ■films art; said to contain many of the very latent successes in biographic art, and should not be missed bv lovers of really good pictures. Now admirably adapted to a picture theatre the School of Music possesses the unique quality of commanding a good and ' uninterrupted view of the creen from practically every seat, while for the comfort of those attending Fullers' have arranged for the hall to be artificially heat-, ed, made draught-proof, and yet perfectly ventilated. The projection -'is all that can be desired, pictures standincr cut clear and sham, without being .dazzling. iSeats can be 'booked at Begg's. OLYMPIA RINK. The Olympia Rink still retains its fascination for skaters, and the and evening sessions aro eagerly availed of. v XKLSON SAVAGES' lIARD-UiP XIGIIT. A final reminder is given of the ''llard-lJp" night to be given on Monday evening afc the 'Theatre, ib>y members of the- Nelson- Savage Club. The programme, consisting of songsby Messrs R. I'\ Foster, G. Bush, A. G. Thompson, and <G. Lockhead, duets by Messrs <Fostcr and lloulker, sketches, topical allusions in vbrsi; and prose, instrumental items, aiid popular choruses, renderpd in true -savage style, should 1 - prove an attraction to all. Patrons of the entertainment are notified that tho doors of the Theatre will be closed at 8 sharp, and will not be opened till the conclusion of theinstallation of the Great Chief, at 8.15. The box plan is at Jack-son's, and is filling rapidly. The fortnightly korero of the Club -will be held in the Masonic Hall at S o'clock this evening, with orchestral practice at. 7 sharp (not in the School of Mhaic.)
