GRANVILLE—GREEN.

A quiet wedding- took place at Richmond on August 3rd, when Miss Maibel Davis (Daisy) Green, daughter of Mr and Mi's M. A. Green, of Magnolia Villa, was married to Victor Norman Granville, eldest son of Mr V. Granville, of "Wanganui. The ccMiiiony was performed by the Rev. Mr Cari\ The 'bride was given away •by her mother, and was dressed 'n a cream silk Sicilian frock, trimmed with cream satiHj and wore a cream hat fo match. 'She carried a Prayer Book, bound in ivory, a present rom her mother. iMrs Green, the motive of the 'bride, wore a dres s of blaeik satin, with 'black lace trimmings, also a shoulder cape of white satin aind lace, and a black hat trimed Tith autumn-tinted: leaves. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. Hayes Croucher, a very old friend. Miss Potrie presided at the organ, the service being semi-choral. Tire bride's coiner away dres-, wa s a dark green tweed coat and .=.kirt. and green ha.t •to match. Amonst the many presents was a silver sugar scuttle from ■the choir and Flower Guild. Mrs Granville had a member of the choir for 3 5 years. a%d a staunch •chure'.i worker, and will 'be greatly ■missed. ■
