WELLINGTON. Yesterday
Tho Chief Justice gave judgment today in the Supreme Court in the case in which a readjustment of the late Lawrence Arthur .Robert Worthington. The applicant was his widow. It appeared that deceased was father of six children, t.vo of whom were illegitimate. To the latter lie left in his will £IOO each. The Chief Justice said deceased was bound to provide for the support of his illegit' mate children, as well as those born i., wedlock—that was a moral duty cast upon him.. There was no evidence that tho illegitimate children could bo supported from another quarter. The application must be dismissed, with costs,.
