MR. J- W. JOYNT AND OLD NELSON COLLEIANS. [Dnitsd Press Association.] WELLINGTON, This- Day. Mr. J. W. Jbvnt. who was principal of Nelson College from 1889 to 1898, and who -is. about to leave New Zealand to take up the position of - London agent for the New Zealand University, was entertained last- evening bv the Nelson College Old Boys' Association. Mr. T. R. Fleming, President, presided, and on behalf of the Association presented Mr. Jovnt with an inscribed travelling clock. In replying to the toast- of his health, Mr. Joymt said that many ex-pupils occupied prominent positions in the legal world. Four old' boys -were head teachers of public schools in the Dominion. He was glad he 'was not saying goodbye for life.
