A BODY EXHUMED.

STARTLING DEVELOPMENTS. Sensational developments have occurred in regard to the death of George Moore, who was reported to have been killed near Coonamble on July 24th by a kick from a horse. Moore was a resident of Coonamble (N.S.W), but for some weeks had been at work with his brother-in-law, Darcy Bridge, "digging out" on Gooriaanawa run, about 35 miles from Coonamble. They were camped near Utah bore when Move's death occurred. Bridge reported the matter to the Baradine police, anci Sergeant Murray reported to the coroner that he had examined the body and fount cuts and bruises' on the face and head, but no other marks of violence. He stated that there were no suspicious circumstances, and that deceased had evidently been, killed by a kick from a horse. The coroner consequently dispensed with an inquiry, and gave an order for the interment of the body, which was conveyed to Coonamble and buried. During the week rumours were circulated as to how Moore had met his death. These came to t,he ears of the police, and Senior Sergeant Thorn set about investigating them. As the result of inquiries the police obtained an order for the exhumation of the body. This was carried out. and a post mortem was conducted by Dr Bertrom, Government medical officer. Senior Sergeant Thoin arrested Darcy Bridge at his residence in Coonamble. and charged him with causing the death of Moore. Accused made no Teply to the charge.
