SUICIDE BY WOMEN.
[Unites Pbess Associatijon.] pyweoiN, Friday. Mrs Bunce, the wife of Henry Suuw, pointer, residing in Walker Avenue, was found by her husband last evening suffering from severe pains. In reply to questions she said she had put some match heads in water and then drank the solution. Medical aid was secured, and the woman was removed to the hospital, where she died to-night. Deceased was 29 years old, and had four children. So far as is known the deceased had no domestic trouble. Mrs Hughes, a widow, aged 58 years, residing i# South Dunedin, was found drowned in "a "batfr at her residence, at about 5.30 p.m. to-day. ' H*r 'husband died in April last, and it is stated that she had been despondent ever since then.
