He was removed to the hospital. • Some blood was noticod on the footpathj and close bv was found (lie blood-stained of a watch, which is believed to belong to Mr Lynch. The hands of the watch had stopped at- 10 20. Two of Mr Lynch's teeth were Broken, and his spectacles were al-o damaged. Ho regained c-T-nsciousnss this muiiting. ond he was able to leave the hospital this afternoon. The police havo been ro far unable io fin*! ont anything further on the matter.
