Howden was declared the winnei by error, his score being reckoned from too great a- handicap. A. N. Baranud's gross score 84, handicap scratch, nett score 84, and H. C. Tonks, Auckland, gross score 97, minus handicap 13, nett score 84, being equal for the first. Tho weather to-day was dull, with a cold south-west wind blowing, but the rain fortunately held off.
