AN INDISCRIMINATE SALE OF POISON. A STRONG RIDER. At the resumed inquest at Takaka on the body of Ernest Winter (who died j at Motupipi on the Sth inst. after drink ing oil of mirbane, used in connection with the explosive rockarock for -stumping)—in mistake for tea), the jury returned a verdict. "That the deceased, Ernest Winter, met his death by taking nitro-benzine ,or oil of mirbane, accidentally delf -(administered." The jury added a rider to the efTeH that strong representation be made to the 'Minister of Justice that this oil, though an intense poison, is sold without restriction in drums and bottles, with no indication as to its nature ; that nitro of benzine, or the oil of mirbane, should be placed in the schedule, of-the TPoisons Act, and the. restrictions applicable to the .sale of other: poisons dhould be applied to it. also. ■: ■ : :■■.-.. . ■ ■■■ i.
