"QUEEN OF THE NIGHT."
To-night the sensational drama, "Queen of the Night,", will be staged. This play is full of thrilling sensations intermixed with comedy, and the scenery is said to "b.a *n * igrand scale. The play "ran four weeks in Sydney, "and has drawn crowded houses throughout the Dominion. Mi' Maurice Raymond, representing the Frivolity Minstrel and Variety Co., is now in town arranging for a tour of. the Nelson province, commencing at Wakapuaka, at the Hillside schoolroom, on Wednesday next, and including JN'elson later. A drag will l^ave Austen's, to. bacconist's, at 6.15 to enable town visitors to attend, and tickets &fe obtainable at Austen's. The Druids will hold their anniversary social in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday evening next. The entertainment will consist- of a re-union of all Druids and their lady friends, opening with progressive euchre and winding up with a dance. A liberal supply of refreshments has been arranged for. and a pleasant evening is anticipated.
