The "Morning Post" warns intending emigrant* to disregard tlje Newcastle (New South Wales) Labour Council's communication to the Parliamentary Labour Committee. The Council represents that labour greatly exceeds the demand ; men of all ranks are earning a precarious livelihood, and undertaking work for which they are unfitted. It protests against the Government negotiating with the Salvation Army. Tho "Post" asserts that emigration i», conducted in the best possible way by person* boing compelled to consider the laws of 'Wply and demand. It considers that the eflor|s of the Newcastle labour ring retard rronomif progress unjustifiably.
