i THE U.S. PRESIDENTS ELECTION. MR HEARST AND HIS CHARGES FURTHER ALLEGATIONS. [Peess Association. — Copyright] NEW YORK, Saturday. Mr Hearst has published additional letters, showing that eminent Republican and Dempcratic politicians tendered legislative services to financial corporations upon the basis of financial support. The disclosure has evoked frantic expressions of public disgust. Senator Foraker declared that Mr Taft consorted with Standard Oil magnates, and Mr Roosevelt's conduct since the charges were made indicated a guilty conscience. The Democrats accuse Mr Cornelius Bliss, treasurer of the Republican National Party, of, on behalf of Mr Cortelyou, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, levying a contribution of £20,000 upon Merrsrs Rogers and Archbold, representing the Standard Oil Trust, on the understanding that tho Act would be less harshly administered towards the corporation. Tbe Democrats admit that Mr Roosevelt directed the Committee to return the money, but the money was spent nevertheless, and a little later tihe Standard Oil Trust was requested to furnish £50,000 move. Mr Rogers declined, intimating that they had never received back tht £20,000. He accused Mr Roosevelt of knowing that the 9um was not only accepted, but used. TO-DAY'S CABLES.
