WOMAN'S WORLD.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. Fortuno does noit change men; it unmasks them. , The human soul needs to be matfd to develop all its value. The ideal and tho real can reuca their fullest cxisteneo only together. To select well among old things is almost equal to inventing new ones. Nothing is more apt to remove all good thoughts than want of trust, whereas trust in a person inspires him to do right; we are touched by the good opinion if others, and will not lose it easily. Knowledge should beget humility. Knowledge clothed in the unpretentious garments of humility secures respect; while knowledge clad in the vain and obstrusive dress of conceit appears despicable. There is but one evil which can happen to a man, which is to be wrong and to have himself to blame for it.
