Notification of the opening of a 6ecl tion of national endowment land in the j Nelson land district appears in tflt night's "Gazette." The section, which consists ci 204 acres, is situated in the . Tutaki survey district, near Murchison. , The capital value is assessed at £720, I and the half-yearly rental at £14 Bs. The land is weighted with £44 15s * f valuation of improvements. There are • 150 acres of flat land, the remainder being 1 described as undulating and gravelly i terraces. There are about 43 acres (in - Datehesl felled and grdssed, the remaint der being covered with red birch and 1 brown birch. The description of the I I soil is a lifrht alluvial clay on top of 1 trravel. The land will be open for seI lection on the renewable lease system on |- November 11th. _ _
